No Authority To Attack Iran

Food for thought, from Obama’s own campaign website comes this gem.

Obama opposed the Kyl-Lieberman amendment, which says we should use our military presence in Iraq to counter the threat from Iran. Obama believes that it was reckless for Congress to give George Bush any justification to extend the Iraq War or to attack Iran. Obama also introduced a resolution in the Senate declaring that no act of Congress – including Kyl-Lieberman – gives the Bush administration authorization to attack Iran.

Not even if Iran attacks us? One of these days Iran will get nukes and when that happens, Iran will use them against us. It only takes one bomb strategically detonated in the atmosphere to set off enough EMP to fry everything using electricity, from cars to cell phones, in the U.S. setting us back to a pre-industrial era. What would Obama say/do then? One thing is certain, if that happens, no one will be blogging about it as there would be no functioning computers. Best to register our discontent at Obama’s irresponsible legislative efforts and stance on Iran before that happens.
