Unapologetic
Teh Reverend Wright story isn’t goin away, well not wit him goin on his ‘all about me’ tour. Thiz in USA Today article.
“I come frum a religiouz tradishun where we shout in teh sanctuary nd march on teh pickit linez,” he sez. Awwww!!!1, LOL! “Teh black religiouz experience iz different. … Different doez not mean deficient.”
Durin a nearly hour-long interview aird Friday on PBS, Wright sez he had been “crucifid by corporate-ownd media.” He did not recant his controversial sermonz — includin one in which he suggestd dat teh 9/11 terrorist attackz were payback for “terrorism” dat teh U.S. government had perpetratd abroad in military acshunz against Libya, Panama, Iraq nd in teh nuclear attackz on Japan dat endd World War II.
He sez he iz bein exposd to “vitriolic hatrd” nd death threatz because Americanz “wud rathr clin to wut dey are taught” than come to gripz wit factz about their government’z actz ov oppression against Native Americanz, African-Americanz nd foreign civilianz caught in teh crossfire ov war.
Nd wut Barack Obama had to sez about teh controversy, note he doesn’t sez which commentz offendd him.
“I think dat peepz were legitimately offendd by sum ov teh commentz dat he had made in teh past,” he sez. “Teh fact dat he’z mah formr pastor I think makez it a legitimate political issue.”
OK, dat meanz he’z fair game for teh Republicanz. Meanwhile ovr at CNN, Wright clarifiez his posishun.
Democratic candidate Sen. LOL!!!1, LOL! Barack Obama’z formr pastor told an audience ov thousandz at an NAACP dinnr Sunday dat he waz “descriptive” but “not divisive” when he talkz about race relashunz in America.
“I describe teh condishunz in thiz country,” teh Rev. Jeremiah Wright sez durin his lively keynote addresz at teh Detroit chaptr’z 53rd Freedom Fund dinnr.
“Condishunz divide, not mah descripshunz,” he sez.
“I iz sry ur local political analystz nd ur neighborin county executivez think mah bein here iz polarizin nd mah sermonz are divisive, but I’z not here to addresz an analyst’z opinion,” he sez. “I iz here to addresz ur 2008 theme … (ov) change iz goin to come.”
Um, not divisive, not buyin dat. Nd frum teh sound bytez I’ve heard today nd I’ve heard plenty, he’z still divisive.
