Seminal Day
Three were supposed to go, two went but not without a lot of chasing to get them in the carriers. Bazel is still here and my arm is shredded. He didn’t exactly want to get in that carrier. He hid really well after that. I worked on stopping the flow of blood. Needless to say that didn’t go over well. When my friends came to take them to their new home, only Jezi was in a carrier. Izzy took another half hour. They were too tired to go after Bazel, tried looking but like I said, he hid really well.
Friend found a place for the kitties yesterday, foster care in people’s homes. They are going to try to keep them together seeing as they are family. Izzy got along well with his new humans, Jezi not so well, she was her usual hissy self.
We’ll try again in a couple of weeks to get Bazel gone. Maybe then, the remaining cats will be easier to handle. Having difficulty bending, pain a problem, feeding and cleaning their litterpans are agonizing. At least they will be less expensive as there will be fewer mouths to feed.
Well, Well, Look Who Won
On winning Ohio, Texas, and Rhode Island, Hillary sounded a conciliatory note.
Asked on CBS’s “The Early Show” whether she and Obama should be on the same ticket, Clinton said:
“That may be where this is headed, but of course we have to decide who is on the top of ticket. I think the people of Ohio very clearly said that it should be me.”
Is that comment wise considering she still has to fight him in future primaries? He’s still ahead in delegate count. It is far from over, thankfully, for John McCain who scored a decisive victory and the Republican nomination. Oh the fun of them beating each other up possibly all the way to the Democratic convention. Saves McCain the effort.
