Warmer Than I Thought
Not quite as cold out as I thought so it seems.
“To suppose that we aspire to return to the times of the Cold War is just too bold a supposition,” Putin told hundreds of reporters in the Kremlin’s Round Hall.
“We are not interested in this. Our main tasks are internal development, the solution of social and economic problems of the country.”
Russia was willing to work “towards the construction of a positive dialogue” with whoever won the U.S. presidential election and did not intend to target any country with its nuclear missiles except in “extreme necessity,” he said.
I remain skeptical of course.

I don’t think they want to return to the times of the Cold War, either. Not much has gone right for Russia since Glasnost, so why would they want a re-do?
Now, “trying a similar stab for world domination after analyzing the lessons we’ve learned, preferably by developing closer ties with all of the Middle Eastern oil-rich countries and then strangling the U.S.?”
Yeah, I could see that being their goal.

That seems doable, very. I could see China doing something quite similar, they both have this domination thing going. Sucks to be second rate.
