Snoozin’
This hit home - Clinton dozing off during a speech, Ellison too. I can so relate to the snoozing as I too fall asleep, usually when I sit. It takes great effort for me to stay awake during boring speeches or anytime else now.
At least I don’t snore when sitting as I snore when laying on my back and I’ve only fallen over when on the can. Not in church.
I knew I had a problem with my MS when I couldn’t stay awake one night at work. Mind you everyone else was asleep, was that kind of night, but it was unusual for me no matter how boring it got.
Now, even reading juicy novels puts me to sleep. I have to get up frequently to wake myself up.
I was amazed that I could stay awake yesterday watching that movie. It was sufficiently engaging I guess. Slashing throats and spurting blood does tend to keep one on the edge of one’s seat now. That’s one embarrassment I didn’t have to face.
