As I’ve made resolutions each year, I thought to do it again. Since I didn’t exactly keep any, I’m recycling the ones from last year which were new then and have not had the glorious opportunity to be recycled. Some changes and additions made.
Resolved: to see the beauty in life and share the joy in living. And not just party as I’ve been doing. Especially since I am off on disability now. These are exciting times we live in, most interesting and I’m glad I live in them. And not just cause of the next resolution.
Resolved: to expand my mind, or at least keep in functioning. That means classes or at least educational reading.
Resolved: to watch Job’s keynote speech to see if Apple will bring out something awesome that I just can’t live without like the iPhone which I haven’t gotten. Did get the MacBook, did get Leopard.
Resolved: to find new homes for that most evil Jezebel and the master of chew and pee, Bazel. I know I’ve been dreadfully slow. Like a whole year has gone by and I’ve done nothing except find out that Bazel is behind the pee on the counter. Izzy is vindicated. Why Bazel has even done the lapcat bit to ensure his survival. Now Jezi, she’s become a lapcat too probably to stave off deportation to the nearest shelter that isn’t full. Even trying to find a non-full shelter for those two has been a losing proposition.
Resolved: to get the rest of the carpet up so I can replace it. Might need help with that. New carpet’s out in the garage waiting… for the kittycats to move out as they tend to wreck stuff. See previous resolution, needs doing first. Still.
Resolved: to blog more, been laying down on the job. Been reading more and blogging less. Exciting novels just can’t put down.
Resolved: to put more thought into shopping. It’s New Year’s day and I’m out of canned kitty food. Again. Need to be more prepared just in case something might happen and it usually does like not having the car cause kid is borrowing it until she can buy another one, hers got totalled in that accident.
Short list, I’m done.
