Growing Capacity

Over 3000 centrifuges and installing more, Iran’s enrichment program is growing. Edmund Blair (Reuters) via Yahoo writes:

Western experts say 3,000 machines running smoothly for long periods at supersonic speeds could make enough enriched uranium for an atomic bomb in about a year, if Iran wanted, and form the basis for “industrial-scale” production of nuclear fuel.

We know Iran only wants nuclear energy to create electricity. Sure. Right. Anyone think they don’t want the bomb has to be living in a dream world. Course they’d need more than one bomb to really pose a threat. Still, even one bomb over Tel Aviv would be a disaster.

Doubt they’d bomb Jerusalem cause of that mosque.

There is some disparity between what the IAEA says and what Iran says. Who to believe? Considering Iran’s proven ability to hide their nuclear program from the IAEA, probably Iran. To wit from WND:

“A number of nuclear sites have not even been visited by the IAEA,” said Alireza Jafarzadeh, a spokesman for the National Council of Resistance of Iran. “They’re giving a clean bill of health to a regime that is known to have practiced deception.”

Iran. Definitely.
