I seem to have encountered some difficulty reading of late.

Sit at the dining table reading the paper, Izzy bats at it. Paper crumples, doesn’t get read.

Try reading a magazine and Meowza walks on it. A cat sitting on a magazine presents a rather opaque obstacle to reading.

Lay on the sofa reading the iBook or MacBook and Krissie disintegrates all over it. Other cats shed, she disintegrates. Cat hairs and keyboards are decidedly incompatible that is if one wants the keyboard to function.

So, hide in Ritzi’s room to read a book and Ritzi rubs up against me making reading all but impossible. Cat gets love.

Only thing left is to hide in my room which is off limits for them for obvious reasons. There I can read and I have been reading…
