Worries

As if I didn’t have enough to worry about, here’s more. Kate has the definitive and rather long list of things of concern to women. It means more as one gets older. At my age the list is positively depressing. Although I do look much younger than my actual age so it’s not all bad. So, I’ll stick to my list.

Bad kittycats

Hamas which has another intifada on the way

Hezbollah which is far more widespread than you think

Israel’s survival

Ahmadinejad who’s working on getting nukes

Al Qaida who would like nukes and has it’s HQ on the border of

Pakistan which has nukes already

Very bad kittycats

Illegal immigration

Congress

POTUS/SCOTUS I’m covering all my bases er branches of government

Did I mention kittycats? Look, there was rat poison in some pet food, over a thousand pets are ill or have died and the numbers are expected to climb. And as luck would have it, none of them were mine as they didn’t eat any of the recalled brands. Won’t either, they’ll stick to the safe Fancy Feast.

And it might not even be the rat poison.

Isn’t That Peachy

The Senate went along with the House to support setting a date for withdrawal from Iraq. Nothing like telling the enemy your tactics. These people want to lose. Some quotes from Yahoo.

“This war is not worth the spilling of another drop of American blood,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid

“It would be the bugle of retreat. It would be echoed and repeated from every minaret throughout Iraq that coalition forces have decided to take the first step backwards,” said the former Senate Armed Services Committee chairman, Sen. John Warner

Senate Appropriations Committee Chairman Robert Byrd said the U.S. troop presence “is a catalyst for violence in Iraq and in the region.”

Nothing like supporting our troops… not! Wait til they hear this. Arrgh! Thankfully, there are people that actually support the troops and their mission. Some of us realize what it would mean to lose.
