On the radio this morning was this bit of good news, my little town of Gilbert, Arizona is cracking down on illegals. Well those caught doing crimes anyway. They’re to be turned over to the Feds.

Unfortunately, the Feds usually set a court date and release them. It’s rare for them to actually deport illegals.

On a related note, one of the Federal Judges that were fired was from Arizona and, according to the local rag, he has prosecuted quite a few illegals. Not sure why he was fired but wouldn’t surprise me if Bush didn’t like that being pro illegal as he is.

Meanwhile, there’s another immigration reform bill working it’s way thru Congress. With the Democrats in charge, it stands a good chance of passing too. Democrats and Bush see eye to eye on that issue.
