Pure Comfort

After near dying from the heat when I went to the post office, wimp here, I layed low and went shopping once the sun set. Much more bearable. When I got home, a car pulled up out front. Friend of mine had read the obits and thought it was my mother-in law. I corrected her, ex-mother-in-law. She wanted to make sure I was all right. I was. I’m more concerned my child lost her only living grandma. Anyway, she’s there for me if I need it.

Actually, only thing I need at this point is the night off from work so I can go to the viewing and funeral. Friend can’t do that. As for comforting…

there’s Meowza.

And Keefe and Krissie, they all piled on when I sat on the sofa to watch Lost. I had to, see Meowza did the rolling over showing his tummy wanting to play and be petted bit. And I just can’t resist that.

Meowza looks like he’s whistling.
