I never could understand the urge to buy sweaters and booties for one’s pets until I caught myself when I opened the door and the kitties gathered around, telling them, “It’s too cold for you kitties out there.” Here they all were, dressed in their finest fur coats and I was telling them it was too cold. Of course, one peek out the door with it’s accompanying blast of cold air and they agreed, hastily beating a retreat. Back to the warm confines of the sofa.

Except for Izzy. Twice now he went out, refused to come in and spent the night out in the cold. After a few hours of calling for him to come in, I gave up and went to bed. Call me heartless but even us humans need sleep.

Speaking of that, here’s Krissie and Meowza demonstrating the proper cold weather activity for kittycats.
