From Lair, via SMS (cellphone) so not sure if I got the spacing right.

Lighter than a feather, a buzzing mosquito follows the scent trail and lands.

It smells its surroundings, sniffing for blood.

Searching.

The jagged proboscis digs, ripping through flesh for rich red blood. The mosquito drinks. Its belly quickly fills…SMACK!

“You’re live in thirty seconds,” the producer buzzes in his earpiece.

The thousands of exhausted survivors just sit and stare. The cameraman licks his dry lips and thinks Pulitzer.

Kat Blogging

I’ve been doing all the wrong kind of cat blogging, Kat(rina) blogging so here’s a couple of cats of the furry kind.

And back to Kat(rina) blogging. Arizona is sending medical people too to help. We won’t be left out just cause we are a few states away. The Terriorists have a list of animal rescue groups. I am partial to the CFA because I have cats of course.

Thou considering the damage, the relief effort will cost billions. Can donate all weekend too. BlogHouston has Houston’s area Katrina info. Lair’s on vacation this weekend so we’ll be a little bit less Frisky. In this void we present this bit of idiocy. It has to be seen to be believed. They have lots of other good stuff too.
