Dumb Moggie

Spraying weeds with Roundup while it is warm, a beautiful sunny 76, but too warm for me. Heated me up too much so now everything is a bit shimmery. OK, now AC is on, fan is on and I am resting…

…before I go out again, this time to the store not to spray more weeds. Got almost all of them anyway. Rain has been good for the water supply but bad for the lawn.

Still, no sign of Psycho Cat who got out the other day when I opened the door. I needed to go out but she shot past me too fast to stop. And ran away when I tried to catch her. I was just too slow. Kid was not amused and ragged on my yesterday for not calling her. I got busy at work and forgot, k. I do do that. Not just get busy at work, but forget. Memory has suffered from the MS.

I did remind her who bought the kitty food and litter, who fed and cleaned up after them and it wasn’t her. She is never home.

A blogger, a gossip blogger even, is this a victory of the blogosphere over the FEC?
No, not even. The blogger in question is a professional, hardly independent and nonpartisan considering said blogger…

…served formerly as deputy national press secretary on Howard Dean’s presidential campaign and, beginning in 1997, was then-Governor Dean’s first webmaster.

Tell me that is nonpartisan. And…

… held internships at ABCNews’ Political Unit and at the Atlantic Monthly.

The guy is definitely part of the MSM that qualifies for the exemption from the FEC crackdown on blogs. I’m not holding my breath that a real blog by a regular nonjournalist will be recognized by the White House. Now that would be a victory for the blogosphere.

It’s not happening folks.
