Bad Idea

Changing the Constitution for one man. If we won’t do it to preserve marriage, why should we do it so Arnold can run for President. There are some that think he is lacking in moral clarity.

Jones’ loathing of Schwarzenegger is clear:

“This narcissistic megalomaniac would have control of the nuclear launch codes if he were president - just think about that. From defending known Nazi Kurt Waldheim, using illegal drugs and sexually harassing women, I’ve never heard of a politician coated in this much slime.”

Safe to say Arnold has less than a stellar background. The Nazi bit I’d have to research, could be a problem, the drugs a definite no no. I am less concerned about his dalliances as Bill Clinton, hardly the moral ideal, was a decent President for the most part. Arnold faces some stiff opposition. And unlike the Swift Boat Vets, they have more time to organize their opposition. This will be interesting.

The organization plans to run media ads to communicate what it calls the “real nature of Arnold Schwarzenegger and the clear and present danger he represents to American sovereignty.”

It’s the sovereignty that concerns me, that and the fact Orrin Hatch is one of those submitting legislation to give Arnold what he wants. I don’t trust anything Orrin does cause he’s so easily bought. And it’s not just Arnold, think any foreigner that becomes a citizen can run for President if the legislation passes. Just cause someone becomes a citizen doesn’t mean that’s where their loyalties lie. Course, it could be argued that just cause someone was born in the USA doesn’t mean that’s where their loyalties lie. Example, Michael Moore. Nuff said.

Excellent points. Also, ever since Arnold suggested killing shelter animals early and often just to save money, I’ve had a bad taste in my mouth about him.

How cruel! I’m for just the opposite - not killing them on the oft chance someone had an animal go missing, allowing them time to claim them - why my cats are indoor cats cause that happened to me a very long time ago. Sides, it would give more time for them to be adopted out.

Show Trial #24

:cool:No, Arnold. No, Madeilene. No, Mr. Soros. There’s a reason Moses drifted for 40 years in the wilderness. It’s because that generation of slaves was not worthy to start a nation. Arnold, sit back in retirement and watch your child take the White House…if he or she can.

The 28th Amendment, and a respectful disagreement

As suggested by The Commissar, I’ll take this opportunity to disagree with a blogger whom I respect. Today, it’s The Captain.
