Unexpected News

From the Washington Post is this bombshell.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Nov. 12 — A jury found Scott Peterson guilty Friday of killing his pregnant wife Laci and their unborn child in the unlikely saga of suburban adultery and betrayal that has transfixed the trial’s dedicated followers for nearly two years.

Peterson, a 32-year-old fertilizer salesman from Modesto, showed no emotion as the foreman read the verdict. The jury will decide later whether to sentence him to death.

I never expected they would find him guilty - of first-degree murder of Laci and of second-degree murder of their unborn child. Of course now that they did, pink or is it red haired juror and all, Greta will have to find something else to report on. I was so sick of hearing about this trial.

The good part is that since he got a guilty verdict, maybe there will be fewer copycat crimes. Reuters has more on the subject. for those interested. Expect he’ll appeal thou.

Becoming more useful every day, one Firefox browser. Let’s see, added Adblock, View Cookies, ChatZilla, fireFTP, Habari Xenu (an RSS Newsreader), Tweak Network. Now if it had crash protection like I have with Saft in Safari, I’d be all set.

I do note that every page I visit that has it, there is a button at the bottom that has the RSS feed which I can subscribe too, and it shows the latest posts in a drop down menu, sweet.

If you use a PC, Firefox is definitely the browser to get. I’ll still use Safari and probably Camino but I’ll be using Firefox more and more especially with it’s adblocking feature.

Update: However, I had popup blocking checked and got a popup. Not sure why. Could be the advertisers were successful in overcoming the block. Added another, ColorZilla - has an eyedropper and can find out code for the color you want.
