Took off the shades and ran past the hungry, hungry kitties to my bathroom, flipped the switch and I was blinded by the light. It was just so incredibly bright in there. Now I know full well those are only 60 watt bulbs so, after a few neccessities were taken care of, I went into the kitchen and yes, it was very, very bright too. Lovely bright sunshiney color. Noted it was partly cloudy, rushed to feed the kitties, scoop up kitty poop, and Google, ah how did I miss this.
Symptoms of optic neuritis include blurred vision, dimming of colors, pain when the eye is moved, blind spots, and loss of contrast sensitivity.
Solu-Medrol is working folks and after only one dose.
And no, I nixed the nurse’s idea to keep the IV in. Not. Where. I. Work. Not to mention what a cool cat toy an IV would be.
