Studied Out So

Some amusement from this article sitting quietly in my dock. It’s a Brit thing written by one Mark Steyn. He writes:

I said a couple of weeks back that John Kerry was too strange to be President, and a week or two earlier that he was too stuck-up to be President. Since I’m on an alliterative roll, let me add that he’s too stupid to be President. What sort of idiot would make the centrepiece of his presidential campaign four months of proud service in a war he’s best known for opposing?

I like it, strange, stuck up and stupid. It fits. My favorite quote is this one.

How cocooned from reality do you have to be to think you can transform one of the most divisive periods in American history - in which you were largely responsible for much of the divisiveness - into a sappy, happy-clappy, soft-focus patriotic blur without anybody objecting? Most Vietnam veterans of my acquaintance loathe John Kerry, and, if he wasn’t aware of that, he’s too out of it to be President.

Gotta wonder if he’s really that stupid or Hillary is somehow behind this. Lisa has her own favorite quote. Read it. Think, ponder on such unponderables as flower powered zipper pulls and bunny suits. Wait, he is that stupid.

Two Planes Down

Crashed. According to the Herald Sun:

Tass news agency reports a second plane crash in Russia, saying two occurred almost simultaneously.

And according to FoxNews, President Vladimir Putin has called on the Federal Security Service to investigate.

Naturally there is a question of terrorism as there is an upcoming election in Chechnya. Worked for Spain. May work for the U.S..

Back To Basics

Thinking I’ll get back to the things that matter like being able to walk. Need to walk two more days cause I have a class to attend. After that, I can crumple in a heap on the floor.

Yes, it’s getting that bad.

Not going to be like Michele who’s giving herself one fine birthday present. Hope it’s happy. Or who’s that person that’s always quitting…

Rachel Lucas I do believe. I will lounge on the sofa and cat blog. I can do that.

Skirting Around The Issues

Obscuring the issue.

Bending reality to fit.

Tripped, swiftied and fell.

Character is the issue.

Or is it?

Avoiding the issue entirely.

WordPress Nicities

Type the first few letters in a title and the rest pops up. Comes in handy when trying to think of a title and discovered I already did that one. Guess I’m getting boring here. Same old stuff, like the neuralgia, was up late again, same reason. Wonder if I’ll ever be able to wear tight jeans again? See, clothing hurts.

Guess I should rattle the doc’s cage here bout getting my prescription refilled, scheduling my MRI, etc.

And they will get back to me in one - two days.

Done, now back to WordPress. Been contemplating making a few changes but to do that, I’d have to change all my skins and not sure I want to do that just yet. I was thinking of doing a little site nav menu at the top like this one but it doesn’t fit what I’ve done so far. Maybe I’ll just muck around with the Pictoralis gallery (would work there) as I have yet to do much to alter that. Default worked fine and I was lazy. Now, I’m still not thinking of doing a curved template as Angelina has enough curves for any template.

Might ditch a few skins too and just keep my faves. Wonder, does anyone use the skins feature aside from me?
