Israel has conducted military exercises for a pre-emptive strike against several of Iran’s nuclear power facilities and is ready to attack if Russia supplies Iran with rods for enriching uranium, Israeli officials told reporters.

An Israeli defense source in Tel Aviv told the London Sunday Times, which first published the story, that “Israel will on no account permit Iranian reactors - especially the one being built in Bushehr with Russian help - to go critical.”

The source was also quoted as saying that any strike on Iran’s reactors would probably be carried out by long-range F-15I jets, flying over Turkey, with simultaneous operations by commandos on the ground.

Russia is expected to deliver the enriching rods, currently being stored at a Russian port, late next year after a dispute over financial terms is resolved.

“If the worst comes to the worst and international efforts fail,” the source said, “we are very confident we’ll be able to demolish the ayatollah’s nuclear aspirations in one go.”

The source explained that any strike could be accompanied by an attack on other Iranian targets, including a facility at Natanz, where the Iranians have attempted to enrich uranium, and a plant at Arak, which International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors suspect of nuclear activity.

Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon agrees with the recent suggestion of a French Nazi hunter who says it’s time for France’s Jews to pack up and move to Israel immediately.

Sharon told a meeting of the American Jewish Association in Jerusalem that Jews around the world should relocate to Israel as early as possible.

But for those living in France, he added, moving was a “must” because of rising violence against Jews there.

His comments echoed those of Serge Klarsfeld, a prominent French Nazi hunter, who said recently conditions in France are so bad, the best way to keep up the fight is to leave the country.

They’re not going to be any safer in Israel, just concentrated. Imagine, if all the Jews in the world moved to Israel, they would present an irresistable target for destruction. And the Muslims desire their destruction, no ifs ands or buts. A few nukes on Israel and the Jews would be no more. Oh it is a Muslim dream come true. I don’t think such a move would make them more safe, more dead - yes, more safe - no.

If I’m wrong tell me how concentrating them into one small, surrounded on three sides by enemies, target would make the Jews safe.

iPod’s are here and they lowered the price. Most notably, as I already mentioned, they went back to the original design and design of the mini by using the Apple Click Wheel. Hmmm, 12 hours of battery life, that I have to see. Much cheaper too, $1oo less than what I paid. 20GB iPod is now $299. 40GB iPod is $399, what I paid for my 20Gig.

Hey, where’s the 60GB iPod? Holding off on us here.

And what’s this? Apple Lossless encoder, a proprietary format. What happened to standards compliance here? Me smell a DRM thingy here.

Checking store, they took out the Dock $39, Carrying Case $39 and iPod Remote and Earbuds $39 for the 20GB one when they reduced the price. Adding them in brings the price to $416.00, more than the $399 I paid. OK, new ones aren’t that much of a bargain when they take out all the goodies. I find the remote most useful. Don’t think I got a second set of earphones thou. That might equalize things out. Yeah, now I don’t feel bad about paying more/less for what I got.

Oh figured out what was wrong with wp-users online, I had uploaded a new wp-settings without adding the required line of code to use the plugin. Always a good idea to do that.
