Yes I worked, so what’s new? The coworker who swore he was getting a divorce/having his wife deported/foiling her attempt to get a green card/whatever’s pick of the week did exactly what I predicted - went in for “the interview” and it went without a hitch and she got her green card.
He’s trying to convince us he didn’t know it was “the interview” and had thought it just another in a plethora of requests for more info. Not buying it, think he’s just a big softie at heart and would never deport her no matter how bitchy she is.
And right now, she isn’t. She’s even being nice to him probably cause she thought he was getting a divorce/having her deported/foiling her attempt to get a green card/whatever’s pick of the week. Now he’s trying to tell us his sister in law is being nice too. That I find a bit hard to swallow.
Just wait til the honeymoon is over. See, the green card doesn’t change the suckitude of the marriage. it just gives a temporary high and a permanent legal alien status to his wife.
He’s also getting a chopper Pops is making. I can hardly wait to see that.
What else?
Trigeminal neuralgia and just plain neuralgia elsewhere all night, fun… not! The Neurontin just dulls the pain, doesn’t stop the attacks.
What else?
Another employee asked me what I’d like her to say to him?
“Him who?” I asked.
“President Bush,” she replied then explained that she is going on a trip to the White House.
I thought a bit and being quite tired said, “Win the election” and “Blogs for Bush, he has a lot of support.” Yes, that ought to impress him if she actually gets to meet him and speak to him, going as part of a group. Now had I been thinking, I should have said something about his immigration plan but thinking a bit more, being as it’s a Hispanic group and my thoughts don’t jibe with theirs, best not to mention what I think of that.
