I had heard this on the news in passing and finally WND wrote an article about it. It is well worth the read. In case anyone missed it:

Americans are dead - 865 of them - and 5,394 have been wounded so that Iraq can have sovereignty. Less than a week after assuming power, U.S.-appointed interim Prime Minister Iyad Allawi has announced he may offer amnesty to those who killed American troops. His rationale: If the attacker was in opposition against Americans, that will be justified because the United States was an occupation force.

How soon they forget we came to free them from Saddam’s reign of blood and terror. How long before Americans demand we get out of Iraq leaving the Iraqis to their own devices once word gets out it is ok to kill Americans as there will be no consequences for such acts? Americans, remember when:

On March 31, four American workers for a security company were ambushed and killed. A boy was grinding his heels into the burned head screaming, “Where is Bush? Let him come and see this!” as the enraged mob jubilantly dragged the burned bodies through the streets of downtown Fallujah. At least two of the corpses were hanged from a bridge over the Euphrates River. All proud Americans were waiting for worldwide shock and awe!

Americans like them, like Nick Berg. How long before the Iraqis themselves demand we leave lest they kill us instead? With this amnesty, it is open season on us. How long before our troops take action against such bloodthirsty ingrates? The only compelling reason to stay in Iraq is to confine Iran lest they get too ambitious as in joining Iraq and Syria creating a megaterrorist state or nuking Israel. We can’t afford to lose here, this isn’t Vietnam. Cutting and running just cause they are a bunch of ingrates would be the wrong thing to do not that we should do more for them but they are just too dangerous to be left alone. The alternatives, and I don’t see many, are dhimmitude or death cause we just can’t live in peace with those that take delight in cutting our throats. There’s just too many of them, over a billion I do believe. Think Iraq is alone in giving amnesty to terrorists. Think again.

Saudi Arabians beheaded American hostage Paul Johnson, and displayed the 49-year-old aviation engineer’s severed head on a website six days after he was seized. Crown Prince Abdullah announced that the kingdom of Saudi Arabia would offer Islamic militants amnesty. This “world capital of beheading” has been responsible for decapitating 100 individuals in 2002-2003. Three of those beheaded were women. Beheading women did not even begin until the early ’90s. Since that time, 33 have lost their heads.

This is the same Saudi Arabia exporting their Wahhibism brand of Islam to the U.S.. Those that actively follow it desire only peace, a piece of us separated from our bodies methinks. Can’t get away from them cause they are here. Time to cut the oil ties. See how far they get with their money supply cut off. If that doesn’t work, we can always nuke them. They want death, we can give them death, theirs.
