These shamelessly swiped from Matt.
Sub-categories: [Do I want too – got too many categories. That would mean moving posts too. Gotta think about that. Still, very useful.]
OPML Export and Import: [Can specify whether or not to feed whole posts too]
Automatic Thumbnail Creation System: [Thought it hadn’t worked when I first tried it cause the upload doesn’t display the full code to the thumbnail. When I discovered it worked, fixed a bunch of posts.]
Encrypted passwords and cookies: [Noticed that some time ago, glad I saved an old db just in case I forget my password. Course, is in keychain too.]
New plugin architecture: [Makes adding hacks easier too, lot of hacks are now plugins.]
Localization of WordPress and Unicode support: [Spiffy, thou I’ll stick to English.]
Advanced comment moderation: [Been enjoying that for some time.]
Post preview: [Enjoy that too especially when punctuation doesn’t code right in quoted stuff, makes it easy to see what I need to fix.]
RSS and LiveJournal Importers: [Haven’t tried it cause I had, under b2, exported to Live Journal. Still miss that feature.]
Unlimited update services: [Works in Mingus, now I don’t have to use the Ping-o-Matic.]
Directory flexbility: [WordPress files in one directory and blog in a higher level directory – cool, didn’t know I could do that.]
Great list of goodies. And WordPress is free irregardless of the number of authors and number of blogs. Expect multiple blogs in the next release.

You should still use pingomatic, just hit the RPC interface at http://rpc.pingomatic.com/ and it’ll ping everything automatically when you update.
