Of food, kid took me out to dinner, Italian food, very yummy Italian food, had appetizer of stuffed portobello baked with ricotta and feta cheeses, spinach, seasoned bread crumbs on a bed of mixed greens with blue cheese and sundried tomatoes, could have been a meal in itself. I had the shrimp portofino - shrimp, mushrooms, pine nuts, spinach and lemon butter with pasta while kid had grilled salmon filet with a honey-teriyaki glaze and spinach orzo pasta. Yummy bread too. Course, couldn’t eat in peace, kid’s friends kept calling, she didn’t answer but checked messages after and was upset cause they left pissy messages cause she wasn’t there when they wanted her. Hello, Mother’s Day, spend time with mom. Think her friends need to get a life.
