Clicked on OmniWeb and the iBook froze. That’s a first with Panther. So, did the only sensible thing, rebooted.

Unrelated, the Matt commented, the later builds of WP have memory improvements so will be updating after I back up. So sometime today, the site will be inaccessable for probably no longer than 5 or 10 minutes while I update my .htaccess mod rewrite.

Also going to try running my php as cgi pending any adverse info I get between now and then.

Update: OK, done except haven’t customized the index page and having trouble with the links. If I put the default, they all show and just selecting a few categories doesn’t work.

Nother update: Mod rewrite doesn’t appear to be working. This version has less options and I am a bit frustrated at the moment.

Did some testing and mod rewrite worked for categories and nothing else so…

Went back to the old mod rewrite and it worked. The simplified mod rewrite with this build was a no go.
