Wow I Am Honored

I made BOTD over at Wizbang. I was noticed by one of the A-List bloggers.

All these months on the Axis of Naughty finally paid off (gotta look there to find me on the blogroll). Or maybe it was the repeated tracking back of his witty posts.

Could be my own witty posts? Naw, I’m no Lair. Heck, my cats aren’t even as funny as his are. Not as big either.

Kerry’s Constituency

He sure picks strange people to appeal to. From WND, here’s part of what his campaign said:

It is in the urgent interests of the people of the United States to restore our country’s credibility in the eyes of the world. America needs the kind of leadership that will repair alliances with countries on every continent that have been so damaged in the past few years, as well as build new friendships and overcome tensions with others.

We are convinced that John Kerry is the candidate best qualified to meet this challenge. Senator Kerry has the diplomatic skill and temperament as well as a lifetime of accomplishments in field of international affairs. He believes that collaboration with other countries is crucial to efforts to win the war on terror and make America safer.

Remembering Vietnam Veterans Against The War, yep, he’s skilled at diplomacy, collaborated all right, with the Communists against our own troops.

The current administration’s policies of unilateralism and rejection of important international initiatives, from the Kyoto Accords to the Biological Weapons Convention, have alienated much of the world and squandered remarkable reserves of support after 9-11. This climate of hostility affects us all, but most especially impacts those who reside overseas. Disappointment with current U.S. leadership is widespread, extending not just to the corridors of power and politics, but to the man and woman on the street as well.

And who was this meant for? Why the mad mullahs of Iran. You know that country which has tried to aquire nukes and other WMD, supports terrorism, and has the most stellar human rights record… yeah of abuses.

Them.

Speaking of which they are planning a big conference over in Tehran, who knows maybe to discuss just how good a Kerry presidency will be for them. Lot of bigwigs supposed to be there too - Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, Ansar Al Islam.

Note to Kerry, mad Iranian mullahs can’t vote for you. The best you can hope for is a few tactical nukes lobbed at the U.S.. Might get that. Yes, indeed. And even I believe Kerry can make the world safer…

for the terrorists.

Padding The Phone Bill

Cricket now says they have the porting information accessable only to a supervisor but the supervisor can’t access the information. Go figure. The regular rep couldn’t access it and suggested I cancel the porting for which T-Mobile will charge me and start a new porting request meanwhile they will continue to debit my account while they do nothing.

T-Mobile did their best to help, result being that Cricket rep now says request was just put in and number would be ported by tomorrow. And T-Mobile said Cricket cancelled the first request and that number should be ported within a few hours.

I am waiting to see if it gets ported, still considering filing a complaint (have to still click submit on form) with the FCC and anyone else that has anything to do with Cricket.

Update: Port went thru finally so had to deal with the billing runaround, the “we’re not responsible” for the delay, which I informed them that, since it was in their system, ignored by them despite multiple phone calls, then cancelled by them, it was their fault, the “you have to call the porting team to port it”, yeah T-Mobile and I did all that repeatedly. After I made my point perfectly clear, they finally agreed to send a note to Corporate asking to give me a refund. I should know within the next 24 hours whether or not to hit the submit button. Still might do it anyway.

Orkut Invited But

I can’t join. I tried Mog, Mogra, Sugoi Mog, Moggie, Moggers, bout everything I could think and keep getting server error or this user name is already taken. I find it hard to believe a new service has every permutation of the user name I have used since 1997 taken. So naturally, I am unable to complete registration.

Waiting on tech support to see if it can be solved. Not off to a good start here.

Ah, this explains it. Microsoft - ASP - NET figures. Doesn’t work in IE either.

Update: I found two that worked Mognolikems and iMog, picked latter, filled out all the required info that I felt like, logged out. Attempted to log in and my password failed. I give up. Barring a miracle, like tech support helping and the site actually working, doubt I will be using it.

Nother Update: Requesting a lost password which I full well know I have doesn’t work either. Damn, testing, works with ID I didn’t want. So I’m Mognolikesms, that sucks that the service can’t even give one the username or names of their choice.

Right about now, safe to say Mog hates MS. Not feeling any warm fuzzies bout Orkut either. And any username I might be inclined to try, were I inclined to try this crap all over again, would probably have to have numbers in it like 5uckwits. Happy? Me? Not even.

Bush vs Kerry

There’s this, yes, they’re still beating that issue to death, and then there’s this. Which skeleton matters? Allegedly missing drills and a physical is a far cry from smearing the U.S. Military and leaving POW’s and MIA’s for dead, squelching any attempts to find the truth. People will say the past is the past, well look at the present. Bush has proved himself, he stood up for freedom. He did the right thing given all the evidence available to him and everyone else at the time (including John Kerry who agreed).

Thanks Kevin for the links. For more on Kerry vs Bush, read this article at Blogs for Bush.

Peace, Lust, And Acid Attack

It’s the religion of Peace and thus above reproach for it’s treatment of young boys. To quote:

On his hospital bed last week, 16-year-old Abid Tanoli sat listless and alone, half of his body covered by burns that all but destroyed both his eyes and left his face horribly disfigured.

The teenager talked, with difficulty, of how his life had been destroyed since the fateful day in June 2002 when he refused to have sex with his teacher at a religious school in Pakistan.

The boy was horrifically injured in an acid attack after he rebuffed the Muslim cleric’s sexual advances. Now, he has alarmed Pakistan’s powerful religious establishment by pressing charges against his alleged assailants.

May the mullahs rot in hell for what they did to that young boy. Least the Catholic priests are more civilized, no acid attacks. Learn a lot from the Religion of Peace(tm), think they need to drop the moniker, doesn’t suit them. How about the Religion of Torture and Death(tm).

Link from here thanks to Ian. Now excuse me cause I have to hurl.
